September was a month of first steps, fresh notebooks, and new beginnings at SNG Academy. Families arrived ready to plant the seeds of a new season, and together, we built memories that will carry us into the fall.
🌾 Harvest Honors
This week’s Harvest Honors go to The Trice Family for being present at every workshop throughout September and bringing an enthusiastic spirit to each one. Their willingness to dive in and try something new each time embodies the heart of our learning community.

A MONTH OF MOMENTS
Foundations – Clay & Seeds of Writing
We began with our hands in play-dough. Pinching, rolling, and shaping, students built strength and precision while discovering that creativity can start in the simplest movements. At the same time, we turned our senses into tools for writing, brainstorming what we could see, smell, hear, taste, and touch. These small beginnings were the first seeds of storytelling.

Grow-FITT – Balance & Movement
Meanwhile, Grow-FITT had us wobbling, tipping, and grinning from ear to ear. What started as a simple balance exercise quickly revealed that our balance might need… well, a little more balance. The laughter that filled the room reminded us that growth comes through trying, adjusting, and laughing at ourselves along the way.

🍂 Looking Ahead
October promises even more: a coat drive to serve our neighbors, field trips to explore water systems and history, and a mystery theme waiting in Book Club. Our harvest has only just begun, and the story of this year is already unfolding beautifully.
Thank you for being part of our September story. Each clay pinch, blueprint sketch, and adventurous page turned was a seed planted. Together, we grow.
